Hanley Ramrez is a former professional baseball shortstop born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the United States. He played Boston Red Sox, Florida / Miami Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Cleveland Indians in Major League Baseball (MLB).
Ramirez is a three-time All-Star in Major League Baseball and was named Rookie of the Year in the National League in 2006. He played shortstop for most of his career, but he also played first, third, and left field.
